Archaeology Notes

NT77NW 27 70376 77492.

NT 702 775. A small, subrectangular cropmark was clearly visible on CUCAP and Fairey Surveys aerial photographs 100m ENE of the site described on NT77NW 16. It was excavated in 1977 by P Topping, who showed that it was a natural geological feature. No finds were made.
