Archaeology Notes

NT76NE 36 75071 69078.

What may be a ploughed down barrow has been recorded as a cropmark ring-ditch on oblique aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 1986, 1994, 2000) lying close to the summit of a low hill about 380m SW of the Whinhouse plantation. It is about 20m in diameter within a ditch about 2m wide.
