NT75NE 36 NT 77995 56297

This settlement has been recorded as cropmarks on oblique aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 1980, 1996, 2000) lying on gently sloping ground about 700m ENE of Oxendean Tower. It is circular on plan, measuring about 70m in diameter within a ditch about 2m wide broken by an entrance on the NE. An arc of a second, outer, ditch lies some 20m to the NE, with a gap corresponding to the entrance in the settlement.
