(NC 6382 5795) Enclosure (NR)

OS 6" map, (1962)

A hut circle discovered by the OS field investigator (J L D). Heather-covered and built on a spur, it is apparent as a dished platform 10.5m in diameter within a wall spread to 2.5m wide and 0.2 to 0.3m high. The entrance is in the SE. Patches of heather among the generally grassy, peat-covered slope to the N of the hut suggest the existence of submerged clearance heaps.

Revised at 1:10,000

Visited by OS (J L D) 22 April 1960 and (J B) 4 September 1978.
