(Location cited as NT 696 613). Smiddyhill Bridge, Cranshaws, built 1887. A 2-span bridge, with dressed-stone arch rings, snecked-rubble spandrels and wing walls. The segmental arches are of unequal size. The cutwaters are rounded.

This bridge was built in 1887. Its date plaque is visible in photographs BW 2490 and BW 2410 and their scanned images. Information from RCAHMS (AB) 25 May 1999.
This bridge carries the B6355 public road over the Whiteadder Water, within the parish of Cranshaws.
