Archaeology Notes

NT65SW 19 621 519.

A small, polished greenstone axe, 'found on the farm of Floss, in Lauderdale' about 1903 was purchased by J M Corrie for his collection in 1920. (Floss in Lauderdale not located; presumably Flass, in the adjacent parish of Westruther is the farm intended.)

J M Corrie Notebook, No.20.
