Archaeology Notes

NT64NE 3 675 499.

(Approximately NT 675 499) Three mounds resembling cairns, associated with two circular enclosures and some large boulders, are situated on a low spur at the edge of Dogden Moss, about 1/4 mile SW of the W end of Bedshiel Kames.

The area is now deeply ploughed, and no trace remains of these alleged cairns and enclosures.

Previous field report confirmed.

Visited by OS(RDL) 21 August 1963.

Nothing is visible of these enclosures and mounds.

RCAHMS 1980, visited 1979.
