Archaeology Notes

NT63SW 15 c. 62 34.

Presented to the National Museum of Antiquities, Edinburgh on 9 December 1929 by T L Stirling of St Boswells was an object of jet, with a tapering stem and an oblong foot measuring 1 9/16 inches long by 11/16 inch by 9/16 inch at the end - from Butchercote Merton (sic) Berwickshire (?Butchercoat NT 6285 3400)

No further information was found regarding this find. The find spot was not located.
