Articles from Whitrighill (NT 621 344) which were purchased for the National Museum of Antiquities of Ncotland (NMAS) comprise:
(i) A flint knife, dressed along both sides which are parallel, measuring 1 1/4ins by 9/16in.
(ii) A flint flake, dressed along part of one side, measuring 1 13/16ins in length.
(iii) a flint end scraper, measuring 1 1/16ins by 5/8in
(iv) a worked flint measuring 1 1/4in by 3/4in
(v) a pygmy implement of green chert, triangular in shape and dressed on two sides and part of the third, measuring 13/16in in length.

These finds could have come from Whitrig Bog (centred NT 622 349) where other flint objects were found some six or seven years ago by students of Manchester University. (Information from Mr T D Wight, Whitrighill).
