(NT 6918 1721) Settlement - presumed Early Iron Age or Native in Roman Period.

Site cancelled on investigation - seen on air photographs - and

omitted from inventory.

NT 6917 1719 What appear to be the remains of a homestead are situated in dense afforestation in a low-lying position near the bottom of a gradual SE-facing slope. The remains consist of a small sub-rectangular enclosure, bounded by a grass-covered stony bank 0.5m high, now destroyed on the south side, containing a single hut.

Surveyed at 1/2500.

Visited by OS(RD) 23 January 1967.
