This archaeological landscape, which occupies the NW slopes of Crink Law, comprises a scooped settlement, the fragmentary remains of a prehistoric field-system containing traces of cord rig, three buildings, rig, an enclosing field-bank and a boundary bank. The vegetation in the areas of former cultivation is generally short grass or bracken, elsewhere it is rank grass or heather, whilst to the S of the scooped settlement there is a build-up of peat.
