(NT 6989 0934) Cairn (NR)

This cairn, situated on the highest point of a spur, and enclosed by a circular plantation bank, measures 42' in diameter and 3'6" in height. A few stones protrude through its turf covering and it appears to have been dug into.

Knock Hills East

This cairn is located at the summit of Knock Hills East within a subcircular plantation bank (NT60NE 15) about 518m NW of Wooplaw farmstead. The cairn is circular on plan, measures 11.5m in diameter by 1m in height and overlies a ridge of bedrock running from N to S across the summit of the hill. No kerbstones are visible but occasional stones protrude from its turf mound.
