At Katey's Cross, Letham, not only the market cross, but the parent village, have disappeared.

Katey's Cross stood close by the site of the chapel at Letham.

J Robson 1893.

No market cross is extant in the vicinity of Lethem (NT 676 090). The gamekeeper at Lethem knew "Wattie's Spindles" as "Katey's Croft". (See also NT60NE 8 and NT60NE 10).
