Archaeology Notes

NT51NW 29 53308 16808

(Location cited as NT 533 168). Bridge, Trow Mill, late 18th to early 19th century. A single-segmental arch, with dressed-stone arch ring and rubble spandrels and wing walls. The carriageway is slightly humped.

This bridge carries an unclassified public road over the River Teviot which here forms the boundary between the parishes of Cavers and Hawick.
