Cairn, Midshiels. A round cairn, planted with trees, stands 350 yds. NW of Midshiels and at a height of 380ft OD The cairn measures 85ft in diameter by 10ft in height ; but the elevation is not regular and the flattened top suggests that the height has been reduced by about 2ft. Small stones and boulders appear where the surface has been disturbed.
