Activities

Watching Brief (June 2010)

NT 35040 71250 A desk-based assessment and evaluation was carried out on the site of the former Inveresk Kennels on 19 January 2010. Trial trenching identified a number of foundations and service pipes associated with the former kennels, but there were no features, deposits or artefacts of archaeological significance. The archaeological potential of the area is likely to have been reduced by the construction and subsequent demolition of the kennels.
