The site of the salt works is now a modern apartment block. It is unclear if this is a new structure or a renovated building.

Site recorded by GUARD during the Coastal Assessment Survey for Historic Scotland, 'The Firth of Forth from Dunbar to the Coast of Fife' 22nd February 1996..

Architecture Notes

NT37SE 86 3815 7425

This is a late 18th to early 19th century rectangular group of one and two- storey rubble buildings with a part pantiled, part asbestos roof. Salt pan operations carried on until 1959.
