Dovecot, Grange. This dovecot is rectangular on plan, measures 19 3/4 by 16 1/4 feet over all, and probably dates from the late 17th century. Subsequently converted into a dwelling, it is now used as a store.

RCAHMS 1933.

This dovecot has been destroyed.

Visited by OS (A C) 27 February 1959.

There were formerly two doocots in the neighbourhood of Grange Farm. See also NT28NW 148.01 22510 86525.

This dovecot is rectangular on plan, measures 191 by 16 ½ feet overall, and probably dates from the late 17th century. Subsequently converted into a dwelling, it is now used as a store.
