Archaeology Notes

NT27NE 103 2642 7593

A large rectangular group of warehouses, on the site of the old Leith Distillery. The most impressive are two 8-storey, red-brick blocks - one 8-by-8 bay, the other 3-by-12 bay. There are two lower ranges, one 5-storey and attic, 5-bay, rubble-fronted brick, the other 4-storey and basemant, 5-by-20 bay, all rubble.
