( HU 2215 8013 ) Northerhouse On Site of (NR). Chapel and Chapel Burial Ground(LB).

OS 6"map, Shetland 2nd ed.,(1900)

The house and outbuilding are built of the stones of the chapel, and human remains were found about 1858 close to the present house.

Name Book 1878

No trace of a chapel or burial ground at Netherhouse which is also known locally by the name Kirkure. The house is now used as a farm outbuilding and is situated on a small knoll,. Tradition of chapel is still known locally.
