NT18SW 13.01 13208 82853

A late 17th century rectangular dovecot stands in what was formerly the orchard of Rosebery House, Inverkeithing (see NT18NW 78).

RCAHMS 1933

A dovecot in Commercial Road, formerly attached to Rosebery House, was built soon after 1694 to replace an earlier one at the same site. (Rosebery House - 16th/17th century possibly earlier).

NT 1321 8285 This dovecot, formerly attached to Rosebery House, is now situated within a builder's yard. The lean-to type roof has now gone and the structure is dilapidated.

Dovecots, Inverkeithing.

In the burgh there are three rectangular dovecots dating from the late 17th century. Two stand in the gardens between the houses and the railway, while the third lies to the north-east in what was formerly the orchard of Rosebery House.
