This bridge carries a private road leading to Clifton Hall over the Union Canal (built 1818-22, designer Hugh Baird), some 220m S of Clifton Hall. [A typical bridge is described on NS97NW 61.02, q.v.]

This bridge, to the S of Clifton Hall School, has a high arch.
