A short cist was found on 8th March 1929 on North Gyle farm. The findspot is in "Kilmun's Park" field, about 30 paces N of the Gogar Burn, and 200 paces E of the boundary of the Gogar Park property. The cist, unpaved, and oriented ENE-WSW, measured 2'7" x 16" x 20" It contained a food vessel, which was donated to the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS) in 1931 (Accession no: EE 121).
