Archaeology Notes

NC50NE 87 c. 597 060.

An amber bead in the form of a ring of oval cross- section, 2.4 ins in diameter, 0.5 ins hole diameter and 0.75 ins thick, was found at Knockdhu (NC 597 060) Lairg, and was donated to Dunrobin Museum by

Mrs MacKay, possibly in 1934. (Accession no. 1934.1)
