Standing Building Recording (28 February 2023)
NT 14269 45300 An historic building recording survey was undertaken for an intended development of an L-shaped barn at Scotstoun Bank Farmsteading. The building retains its external 19th century style being an example of a utilitarian farm building. The building retains its external 19th century style being an example of a utilitarian farm building with simple timber planked doors and casement windows. Internally the condition of the rooms varies with Room 0/1 being in particularly poor condition and missing its original roof. Whilst absent it seems likely that it would have been similar to that of the other roofing across the site.
