Archaeology Notes

NT13NW 2 102 393.

Area centred NT 108 393: A group of at least eighteen possible terraces whose working areas are 4.0m maximum width and whose scarps rarely exceed 1.0m in height. They are not the usual terraces, the 'platform' being more of a mound and resembling old plough lines, but stepped along the south-facing slope. Not outstanding examples.

Visited by OS(EGC) 8 June 1964.
