The house at Dunnygask incorporates a dormer window pediment bearing the date 1693 above the back door. At the other end of the small extension that houses the back door, a marriage stone, bearing the initials RD and the date 1683 has been reused as a window lintel.

A farmstead comprising one unroofed L-shaped building, which is annotated as a Ruin, three roofed buildings, one of which has two wings and an attached horse-gang, and two enclosures, one of which is incomplete, is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Fife and Kinross 1856, sheet xxix). Two roofed buildings and five enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1988).
