Archaeology Notes

NT08NW 19 03405 86761

Probably dates from the end of the 18th century. It is circular on plan with an external diameter of 16ft, and on the walls are one string-course and a moulded eaves-course. There is an entrance for the birds above the doorway, and a second in the roof, which has been re-slated. The nests have been of wood. The potence is complete.

Dovecot, Drumfin.
