There are now no remains of this camp on the ground, but Mr Syme (J Syme, Carnock) is positive as to the site. He is an old man and remembers the land on which the camp stood to have been open moor. The site, he says, was often pointed out to him by his father. He is the only person in Carnock who knows anything of the camp.

Name Book 1854.

All traces of this supposed camp have been removed.

RCAHMS 1933, visited 1925.

No trace.
