[This bridge carries the B8046 over the Union Canal (built 1818-22, designer Hugh Baird), some 100m NW of Fawnspark farm. A typical bridge is described on NS97NW 61.02, q.v.]

This bridge, which carries a busy minor road over the canal, is situated at Fawnspark. Ties have been used to strengthen it. There is a car park adjacent to it and the spot is favoured by fishermen.

This bridge is clearly marked on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Linlithgowshire 1856, sheet 6), on the 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Linlithgowshire 1897, sheet 6NW), on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map and on the OS 1:10000 raster map (ND).
