NT 055 203. Some slight remains of a cairn can be seen at a height of 1000ft OD on the E end of Peddirie Rig, and on the E side of the main road from Edinburgh to Moffat. Only a grass-grown spread of stones now survives, measuring 40ft in diameter and not more than one foot in height.

NT 0549 2030. This cairn has been destroyed by afforestation. Although there is no definable mound ploughing has exposed a concentration of stone.
