(NT 0296 1221) Hut Circle (NR)
OS 6" map, 1962.
An isolated hut circle lies well down the E slope of Urchin Knowe. It measures 5.4m x 6.0m, and is bounded by a slight earth-and-stone bank. No entrance was noted.

A small rectangular enclosure on the side of a hill. This is not a hut circle and is probably associated with quarrying nearby.

On the date of visit, no trace could be found of the enclosure that is noted by the Ordnance Survey on the ENE flank of Urchin Knowe.
