(NS 9845 4495) Gallow Hill Stone Coffin found (NAT)

OS 6" map (1912)

A knoll, about 800ft in circumference and 30ft high, generally supposed to have been a former place of execution. (No mention of the stone coffin).

Name Book 1858

A very promient mound. No further information.
