(NS 974 365 ) Three ring enclosures from Park Knowe and on air photographs.

Information from RCAHMS to OS 19 December 1967.

NS 9747 3650 - Situated on moorland on the lower east slopes of a hill, are three enclosures ( ? old sheepfolds). The enclosures are formed by turf-covered earthen banks, all about 0.5m high, and are either circular or sub-rectangular in shape, varying in size from 14.5m to 21.0m in diameter. The two southerly enclosures each have a rectangular building outlined by a turf bank, abutting their SE side.

Surveyed at 1/2500.

Visited by OS(RD) 9 February 1968.
