NS 947 141. Unenclosed Platform Settlement: Three platforms extend in line just above the 300 m contour on the SE flank of Coupland Gair, about 420 m NW of Glenochar farmhouse; they measure 10 m, 12 m and 15 m in width respectively. Other platforms, lying to the NE, may have been obliterated by cultivation.

Only two of these platforms can still be identified and the third has probably been destroyed by the construction of a pipeline. Above the sheepfold to the SW there are possibly two more platforms and on the edge of a scarp a little way to the SW there is possibly a third.
