NS89NW 2 8135 9804.

(NS 8135 9804) "Highlandman's Well" (site): The well itself has been filled up, but the stream of water issuing from it can still be seen. The Statistical Account (OSA 1792) records that it was called the "Holy Well" and was said to have been formerly much resorted to by the Roman Catholics. Noted as "Spring" on OS 6" map, (1958)

OSA 1792; RCAHMS 1963, visited 1952.

A spring issuing from an iron pipe. The name could not be confirmed.
