Archaeology Notes

NS84SE 9 c. 88 43.

The rims and handles of a Roman ladle and sieve, found at Lanark, are in the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland. The vessels, which appear to be of second-century type, measure 11 1/6 inches in length; the bowls are about 4 3/4 inches in diameter. Accession Nos. FT 5 and FT 6.
