Archaeology Notes

NS83SE 11 8945 3324

A farmstead remaining in a turf-covered rectangular footing measuring 10.0m by 4.5m, and, abutting, two adjacent enclosures measuring 15.0m by 7.0m and 12.0m by 11.0m. Discontinuous traces of field banks nearby and tenuous signs of rig-and-furrow cultivation.
