NS82SW 4 8421 2345.
(NS 8420 2344). A roughly circular grass-covered mound of stones which stands on the summit of Mosscastle Hill (415m OD) probably represents the remains of a prehistoric burial cairn. Measuring 13.5m in diameter and 1.3m in height, it is traversed by a post-and-wire fence and a ruinous stone boundary-wall and has been extensively robbed, doubtless to provide material for the latter.
