OS 6" map (1968)

St Mirren's Well, a spring, is now enclosed within a modern building, and its water, which must originally have drained into the moss, is piped to Colzium. Beside the building is an unshaped stone, 3' x 2'4" x 10", bearing near the top the date 1687 in large contemporary figures. The stone could not be raised for its other face to be examined.

The saint referred to in the dedication is Merinus (Meadhran).
