A hospital for the poor was founded by Roland Blacader, subdean of Glasgow Cathedral, in Glasgow near the Stablegreen, about 1524-5. In 1605, the ruinous hospital was used as building material (Easson 1957). (Renwick and Lindsay's plan locates this hospital to NS 6008 6563).
