(NC 0172 0927) 'Aite na h'Urdrighean - place of open-air worship, especially communion, in 'natural amphitheatre'.

OS 6" map annotated by I Crawford, September 1961.

The amphitheatre has been constructed in a natural hollow, 4.5m deep on the NE side and open on the SW. The bottom has been levelled, and the open end closed by a crescentic flat-topped bank 0.9m high. It is well known locally as having been a place of worship when the population of Achiltibuie was at its greatest.

Visited by OS (G H P) 24 May 1962.
