Eastwood parish church was confirmed to Paisley Abbey in 1265. It was rebuilt on a new site (at NS 5590 6061) in 1781, and the old church was removed.

Orig Paroch Scot 1851; H Scott et al 1915-61; NSA 1845.

A modern burial vault (Maxwell family) stands on the site of this church, no remains of which are to be seen. The surrounding graveyard contains no stones earlier than the 18th centruy.
