Three oval shielings, 4.5m by 3.5m, 4m by 3.5m and 4m by 4m, inside the west angle of intersecting dykes NNW of the summit of Mearns Law.

T C Welsh 1975.

The shieling-huts reported by Welsh (1975) were not found on the date of visit. At the reported location, however, there are several small quarry-pits and spoil heaps.
