Archaeology Notes

NB44SE 8 495 436.

Dun Beinn Ivor lies at Loch Beinn Iobhair (Ivor) (NB 495 436)

F W L Thomas 1890.

There is no trace of a dun at or near Loch Beinn Iobheir. A small islet in the Loch is not big enough to accommodate anything but the smallest of structures, and when viewed with binoculars from the hillside nearby, presented no sign of anything artificial.

Visited by OS (A A) 14 June 1969.
