Archaeology Notes

NS46SE 42 48072 64110

(NS 4806 6410) Paisley High Church was built in 1754-6, its interior was recast in 1877. It is a rectangle on plan with a 5-stage tower surmounted by a spire, built 1770. The churchyard contains 18th century and later tombs. (Church, churchyard, walls and gates are all listed : A).
