"Inscribed stone bearing the date 1490. it appears to be a boundary stone indicating the Burgal Land in Oakshawside extending from 58 to 93 High Street, inclusive. (approximately from the Cross to Townhead: centred NS 481 640)".
Note with exhibit in Paisley Museum.
The stone in in Paisley Museum; the inscription reads: "Anno 1490. Held of the Lord Abbot Oxschawsyde Free Burgage Territory Nos 58 to 93 High Street." The exact provenance of the stone is unknown in Paisley Museum.
