The fortalice, 'the Tour of Airdoch' once the dwelling place of the Bunteins,was supplanted by a mansion which occupied the site of Mr McKinlay's stack-yard. This mansion disappeared about 1874.

Ardoch House (In Ruins) - In front of this farmhouse (Ardochmore) is situated the Old Mansion of Ardoch. It was built about the beginning of the 17th century.

No remains survive.

NS 363 768 Ardoch Tower was replaced by a house, which was itself demolished in the 19th century.
