NS 325 426. A patinated flint scraper was found here, and Mesolithic flints were found at NS 324 425.

DES 1976

The above locations fall or rising ground on either side of the Lugton Water, significantly near the 50ft contour. Nearly all the mesolithic finds are with Mr A Morrison (Archaeol Dept, Glasgow University). Mr M Macneill (6 Lawrence St, Dowanhill, Glasgow) retains all other material.

Visited by OS (JRL) 20 August 1982.
