NS31SW 3105 1173.
NS 3105 1173 The indistinct cropmark of a possible oval-shaped ditched enclosure appears on APs (540/680: 3056-7, flown 1952). It measures c85m NW-SE by c70m transversely.
Nothing was found on the ground to explain this cropmark, which follows the crest of a low W-facing spur under pasture at c80m OD. Enquiries at St Murray Farm (NS 309 118) proved negative. This field is regularly ploughed and no finds or features have been noted.
